From June 1 to 3, the Industry Green Development Conference 2023, co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, successfully concluded in Guangzhou. The conference, themed “Accelerating Green and Low-carbon Industrial Transformation, Promoting High-quality Economic Development”, brought together leaders from domestic and international government departments, representatives from international organizations, and leading entrepreneurs to share the latest advancements and trends in green industrial development. 

Yeloworld was invited to participate in the conference, where it showcased its achievements in the green packaging sector and outlined its strategic plans for the future industrial chain.

Driving the Green and Low-carbon Transformation of Industry 

As one of the first domestic enterprises specializing in intelligent pooling packaging, Yeloworld showcased a range of green packaging products at this exhibition, including Yelopack 1311, Yelopack 1210, Yelopack 1140, Yeloworld’s recycled pallets, the Turnover Box Explorer, etc. Yeloworld’s pooling packaging serves various industries such as chemicals, fast-moving consumer goods, new materials, tires, and carbon black, making it suitable for diverse applications, including stereoscopic warehouses, flat warehouses, and containers. 

Industry is a key area for energy consumption and carbon emissions in China. Promoting green industrial development requires breaking through resource and environmental constraints and driving green transformation from the source. Prioritizing energy and resource efficiency, recycling resources, and promoting energy conservation, consumption reduction, and quality and efficiency improvement are essential. Yeloworld breaks away from the traditional disposable packaging model by offering pooling packaging solutions. Using Yeloworld’s pooling packaging not only reduces the resource consumption and pollution associated with disposable packaging but also enables multi-tiered circulation across upstream, downstream, and end customers without the need for repeated loading and unloading, thus cutting costs and boosting efficiency. Supported by the Yeloworld Internet + platform for recycling and monitored through the smart carbon data platform, we focus on circularity and digitization to build a green industrial supply chain and achieve internal recycling in packaging.

Recycling and Regeneration of Waste Plastics 

Continuous Upgrading of Yeloworld’s Business Model 

At this exhibition, Yeloworld’s recycling sector made its debut, showcasing broken materials and recycled pellets made from waste plastics. These plastics originate from Yeloworld’s pooling packaging that has reached the end of its service life, waste materials from partner production operations, and consumer-generated plastic waste. Yeloworld processes these waste plastics at its Super Factories, where they undergo sorting, crushing, modification, and granulation to be transformed into recycled pellets and new packaging products. In the future, Yeloworld plans to increase the proportion of recycled plastics in its pooling packaging to further reduce the use of virgin plastics. 

The recycling sector represents the continuous evolution of Yeloworld’s business model. In an era where resources are increasingly scarce and pollution grows more severe, the challenge of finding a sustainable path forward and building a green, low-carbon future is critical for every enterprise. During China’s “14^th Five-Year Plan” period, the focus on carbon reduction as a strategic priority has become critical. The country is working to synchronize efforts on pollution and carbon reduction, facilitating a comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development, and achieving significant improvements in ecological quality. Following the announcement of the “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals”, the central government has introduced a series of policy documents to shape the “1+N” framework for reaching peak carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. 

Yeloworld actively aligns with the national carbon reduction strategy, offering green logistics packaging solutions through its pooling packaging and providing waste plastic recycling and regeneration solutions through its recycling sector. These efforts fully reflect Yeloworld’s commitment to the philosophy of “Cycle to Recycle”. Looking ahead, Yeloworld plans to launch a big data carbon reduction platform, allowing businesses to calculate carbon savings achieved through pooling packaging, providing a comprehensive suite of green and low-carbon services.
